It had been a while since I update my blog as I don’t really have any idea on what to write. So I dig up some doodles that I did during CNY 2010, and I guess I could blog about these artworks.
I went back to my hometown during CNY and there were no computer or internet access over there. To draw, I have to go back to the traditional way of using pen and paper. For people like me that rely heavily on Ctrl-Z, it is actually quite “challenging” to draw without the aid of computer. When you screw up, there are no undo button. Below are three piece of artworks that I manage to finish.
Initially, I want to draw lion dance since it is CNY. But then, I end up changing it so much that it look like some kind of electronic bug or alien.

This is the year of tiger in the Chinese lunar calendar and next year would be year of of the rabbit. So I did a rabbit artwork as well. I was thinking to make the rabbit to wear a tiger mask, but there are no more space for me to add in the detail.

This is an idea that came in to my mind while I am eating mandarin oranges. A robot that are powered by oranges! This is actually quite interesting so I went to google abit. I find out there are some fruit powered electronic appliance like digital clock. Maybe one day in the future, we will use fruit juice as a fuel source for our car.
